We originally developed the Film Bag based on a specific and critical need: to minimize the risk of static electricity in work situations where even small electrical discharges can have major consequences. In many industries – particularly within manufacturing, electronics, energy, and technical service – static electricity can arise from the normal handling of materials and equipment. Without the right precautions, this can lead to damage to sensitive components or, in the worst case, pose a safety risk to the user.

The Solution

The bag is made from 100% cotton webbing, and previously there was only one place in Europe that could weave the material. The cotton is woven to a specific roll width, after which we cut all pieces to size and overlock them so the edges don’t fray. The design is over 30 years old and has always looked this way.

For many years, we have produced these bags with logos for DR, among others. Initially, we printed their logo directly onto the fabric with black ink, but today it is embroidered on our embroidery machines.
